The Centre, Walliscote Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1UR, UK – 0333 014 4501
A wonderful art deco cinema still containing one of the last silent movie organs. Very good ticket prices due to the new cinema opening. Seats are good and the prices are good so you can have luxury seats for the price of a standard seat in the Cineworld cinemas. It will always be my first choice
All the character of the old Odeon art deco cinemas. A blast from the past. £4 a seat! How much, yes £4!!! I saw Avengers Infinity for £4! The best £4 I've spent going to the movies. Big screen, comfortable seat, sensibly priced drinks and popcorn. Toilets immaculate albeit quite old now as is the building but, I'll definitely go again!
7 Central Walk, Dolphin Square, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1FF, UK – 0330 333 4444
Just what you would expect from a Cineworld cinema. It's clean and tidy (although at the time of writing had not been open for long). Staff were friendly and helpful. You have to go up a couple of sets of escalators (there are also lifts) as its above several restaurants. Seats were clean and comfy.
This cinema has the comfiest seats EVER! it's got steep tiers as well, meaning no heads in the way, with plenty of leg room (most I've ever seen) meaning you don't even have to stand up to let people through! Lovely big screens, great sound, wasn't freezing cold either like some other cinemas! Pricey though, but I guess you get what you pay for.
126-130 High St, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1HP, UK – 01934 645544
A lovely theatre. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a wheelchair lift to help wheelchair users reach the first level with ease. There are four spaces for wheelchairs, so i advise calling the theatre direct as these spaces cannot be reserved online. Parking on surrounding streets is free after 6pm. There is also a car park a short walk away. After 6pm it's only £1.50 to park.
I was visiting the Playhouse as a member of the touring show The Rocket Man (Tribute to Sir Elton John) My experience was only back stage. The crew were excellent and very helpful. Not the easiest of get ins and load outs but they took it in their stride. Dressing rooms were plentiful and clean. Excellent showers too. Hope to see you all again soon. Phil (Percussionist The Rocket Man)
20 Wadham St, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1JZ, UK – 01934 645493
Great little theatre with good views from any seat. Due to its smaller stage and auditorium you feel closer to the performance. Small bar and friendly staff.
A great little theatre with bags of character, staff are brilliant. There is a small bar and very clean toilets.
Grove Park Car Park - Weston Super Mare, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2QJ, UK
Small-ish car park with public toilets. Close to gardens, theatre and independent quarter of town. Overnight parking allowed (although WCs are closed).
A beautiful park at the top end of Weston-super-Mare High Street past the Theater. There is a bandstand, fish pond, caffe and a garden by Allan Titchmarsh and colleagues in honor of the lovely Weston resident Jill Dando.
