Hotels Weston-super-Mare

Premier Inn Weston Super-Mare Seafront

Beach Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1TT, UK – 0871 527 9378

Premier Inn are always very clean and comfortable and the one on the seafront in Weston Super Mare is no exception. Our room was spotless and we both slept well in the kingsize bed. The reception staff were very helpful and kind. Car parking is 50 yds down the road in a multi storey and the fee is much reduced if you are staying overnight at the Premier Inn and purchase a ticket after 5pm. The restaurant next door serves good meals and drinks without having to go into town. Hopefully we'll be able to stay again soon.

Fantastic location right by the sea front and only a few minutes walk from the town. The hotel was spotless and quiet and the attached restaurant was an added bonus. The price was excellent too. It really needs its own car park, but the multi - storey opposite is handy, if expensive.

Premier Inn Weston-Super-Mare East

Hutton Moor Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS22 8LY, UK – 0871 527 9156

Very nice hotel. They have added more rooms but think they could do with rectifying the squeaky floors in the older part also. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed here twice now. My go to Weston hotel.

Stayed here before and it wasn't very good but am glad to say that since it has been extended it has improved a lot. It still has very creaky floors everywhere especially in the corridors which are very warm and stuffy. The staff were excellent and we're very helpful. I would have rated it 4 stars but the experience was let down by breakfast in the Beefeater. Not enough staff and the food not very warm, several times we had to ask for eggs, the ones that were there looked as if they had sat for a long time, the bacon was in lumps because they couldn't be bothered to separate the rashers. The fruit was picked over so much that it was just orange segments. The tea water was only warm. I heard a member of staff tell a colleague that she hadn't got time to help as she had other things to do! It felt quite unclean in there. Breakfast was very disappointing overall and we feel as if we paid a lot too much for it. The Premier Inn itself is very well located for the area.

Cabot Court Hotel

1 Knightstone Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2AH, UK – 01934 427930

Weather spoons Weston sea front. Aka the Cabot hotel is a large family orientated place. Lovely decor, refurbished about 7 years ago it is still tidy clean and fresh. The food is good however be prepared for a slight wait. On a Saturday lunchtime as they get very busy. All in all a lovely pub with a great bay to look at when tide is in.

Its a Weatherspoons pub so a lot is to be expected. However, the place is nicely decorated, clean, spacious and well staffed. The food is usually very good for the price, as are the drinks. They aim for 10 minute food service which is great if you're in a hurry. Nice seating areas inside and out which are great for small or large groups. Due to the popularity of this place it can get very busy here at times though I've noticed they are usually well staffed and handle it with it without many hitches.

Booking.com offers competitive rates for any type of hotel, from small independent hotels to a five star luxury ones. The site is available in 24 languages and offers over 71000 hotels in 71 countries. Could be useful for you. There are of course several such sites.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

Weston-super-Mare Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

Captains Cabin Bar & Restaurant

51 Birnbeck Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2EF, UK – 01934 645615

Don't be put off by the seedy location or the dated building of this place but go there for the outstanding friendly service and the best Sunday roast ever. Excellent value, incredibly tasty, beautifully cooked.Have never had fresh homemade horseradish sauce in a pub before. Could not recommend more highly.

Pie night. Homemade pies, fabulous tender quality meat, and extremely helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit !

Brewers Fayre Weston-Super-Mare

Dolphin Sqaure, Beach Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1TT, UK – 01934 421095

Not very consistent. Evening meal was really lovely, chicken burger was cooked so nicely juicy and moreish. Yum! Breakfast not so nice.the cooked breakfast food wasn't cooked well.the bacon was floppy and aneamic. The sausages were a very strange flavour, strong tasting like stuffing,a bit much for breakfast,or for children.and the hash browns were all over cooked so hard and chewy. And all the plates were dirty,I literally had to search down 15 plates before I found a clean one. The continental breakfast was lovely. The staff were mostly lovely, apart from the short older lady who was rude and ignorant. The one thing that really I thought was bad was there were no baby changing facilities so I had to change my baby in the boot of my car....not good 😕 So overall it was an it hit and miss really

Ate here for breakfast for 6 days, only once was I slightly disappointed (by a fried egg that was rubbery, probably due to how long it had been sat there), we had two evening meals one off the standard menu and one off the buffet counter, the former was very good the latter was acceptable but the burgers were a little dry (probably becasue they'd been out a while). Mainly though very good food. The staff on breakfast were always friendly and mostly got our orders right (on one occasion there was a tiny mess up where two orders were combined bit was corrected very quickly). Would recommend the oddly named Chicken garlic chicken and sharing fondue.

Excellent in all ways. Would highly recommend.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Weston-super-Mare Campsites and Caravan Parks

Meadow Lee Caravan Park

Crookes Ln, Kewstoke, Weston-super-Mare BS22 9XE, UK – 01934 633310

Beautiful location helpful and friendly owners always there to help at the end of the phone they have made a lot of improvements since taking over in 2016 I would recommend this site to family and friends

This park used to be first class....sadly the new owners have let things go and cut back rather to the detriment of this once lovely site. The flower displays are are sad and neglected and the once bysy reception office is invariably closed and no one in attendance. I suppose the new management policy is Grabbit and Scarper...very sad.

Lower Norton Ln, Kewstoke, Weston-super-Mare BS22 9YR, UK – 01934 625792

A lovely place to camp, peaceful, beautiful surroundings. with the most spectacular views. We look forward to our next stay.

Nice site only problem not to happy about having to put twenty pence coins in and only lasted two ✌ minutes no notice just cut off. No loo roll 🍥 no soap and toilets not cleaned in the three nights we were there. Shame because position of site very good.
